We celebrated International Day of Yoga at Multiple locations this year. In a world first, we were privileged and honoured to be invited to celebrate IDY at Federal Parliament, Canberra.
4th IDY Celebrations at Australian Federal Parliament
Vasudeva Kriya Yoga held a maiden and a historic International Day of Yoga event in the Australia Federal Parliament. The founder of Vasudeva Kriya Yoga Shri Rajendra Yenkannamoole conveyed the message of Wellness through Yoga during this occasion. Many eminent personalities attended this event and they include:- Hon Mr. Tony Abbott (ex PM)

Vasudeva Kriya Yoga kicked off its annual celebration of International Day of Yoga as a public function on 10th June 2018 at Springer's Leisure Centre, Keysborough. Hundreds of Yoga practitioners pre-registered to the event and participated enthusiastically, despite the freezing cold day.
This eventful half day included the following activities.

- Pranayama
- Meditation
- Yoga Nidra
- Talks on various topics related Yoga, Health and Well being.
- Mrs. Puelich has been a strong supporter of Vasudeva Kriya Yoga for quite some years and we were honored by her presence. In her speech, she called upon Yoga to help with Drug Abuse and other Mental Health issues. She also performed some Yoga under the guidance of Rajendraji.
- Mr. Rampal Muthyala is a member of the Liberal Party and is a local community leader. He is a very strong supporter for Vasudeva Kriya Yoga and his role has been instrumental in organising the International Day of Yoga in the Australian Parliament.
