On the 19th of June 2016, Vasudeva Kriya Yoga is hosting the 2nd International Day of Yoga celebration in Melbourne.

The theme for this year’s conference will be Yoga for Health – Physical, Mental, Social and Spiritual. In lieu To reach out to the wider community we have made this a free event. The venue is Springers Leisure Centre in, 45 Lake View Blvd, Keysborough Victoria 3173 with the capacity to accommodate over 500 participants. This will be a Half a day event involving;
- 108 Sun Salutations
- Yoga for and by kids
- Yoga and Music
- Asanas
- Pranayama
- Meditation
- Vegetarian Food and Stalls
This conference will be attended by yoga practitioners, yoga teachers, doctors and health care professionals and from all over Australia and India and we are expecting a full-house attendance.

Since 2008, Vasudeva Kriya Yoga School has organized International Yoga seminars/workshops in Melbourne and Bangalore involving various yoga schools. Last year in collaboration with the Consulate General of India in Melbourne, Vasudeva Kriya Yoga was privileged to celebrate the 1st IDY on 21st June 2015. This was a full day event, enthusiastically-attended by a moving population of 700 plus Yoga enthusiasts and new starts alike. Here are some pictures from the event.
