This asana improves digestion, activates manipura chakra, cures stomach related problems and strengthens wrists, hands and the abdominal muscles.
Process:
- Sit in Vajrasana.
- Come up on your knees.
- Place the palms on the ground with fingers pointing towards the feet.
- Bring the elbows together while keeping the upper arms parallel to the ground.
- Rest your stomach on the elbows.
- Straighten the legs and raise the knees and feet above the ground.
- Bring the upper body and legs in one line.
- Relax your face muscles and be aware of the breathing.
- Remain here for as long as you can.
Caution: People with hands and stomach problems should do this asana with caution. First timers, should do this asana under supervision.
